Good day!

The common thread this week is handoffs — the admin that happens between asking AI to do something and actually getting the job finished.

Several of the stronger launches are tackling that coordination. Skydive keeps work moving across existing tools, Keyple brings more of recruitment into one system, HyNote removes meeting bots and cloud processing, while Protoface Studio combines more of the AI video workflow in one place.

For small teams, this may be where the next real productivity gains come from: not smarter answers, but fewer steps between request and result.

🪂 SKYDIVE

Digest: Give an agent a job such as cleaning a CRM or preparing a weekly ad report, connect the tools it needs, then leave it running. The interesting bit is persistence: work can continue across Slack, email and the browser after you close your laptop.

For: Founders, operations, marketing, support and small teams with recurring work spread across several applications.

Solves: The jobs that repeatedly fall between systems — pulling a report, updating records, chasing information or completing a routine process that still needs someone to move the work along.

Price: From $20/month for Starter, with unlimited agents for up to five users; AI model and compute usage is charged separately. Team plans start at $200/month.

Setup: Easy — describe the job in plain English and connect the applications the agent needs. No coding is required, with support for tools including Gmail, Notion, Linear and GitHub.

🔎 KEYPLE INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM

Digest: A recruiter can source candidates, track applicants, manage clients and report from one system instead of stitching together several recruiting tools. KIP is unusually credible for a new launch because Keyple spent a year using it inside its own staffing operation first.

For: US staffing and recruitment agencies, particularly teams trying to reduce the number of separate systems used to take a candidate from sourcing to placement.

Solves: The duplicate data entry and fragmented candidate history created when sourcing, applicant tracking, client management, reporting and workflow tools all live separately.

Price: Pricing not publicly published.

Setup: Moderate — access currently starts with a walkthrough, and KIP is designed to become the central staffing system rather than a lightweight add-on. It is currently available to agencies in the United States, with wider availability planned.

📝 HYNOTE FOR MAC

Digest: HyNote records Zoom, Meet or Teams directly from your Mac, transcribes locally and can turn the conversation into decisions and actions without sending a bot into the call. For sensitive client meetings, the local-first design is more interesting than another meeting-summary feature.

For: Consultants, founders, client-facing professionals and small teams using Macs for meetings where privacy or meeting-bot fatigue is a concern.

Solves: Taking notes manually, inviting an obvious recording bot into every meeting, or uploading every conversation to a cloud service simply to obtain a transcript and summary.

Price: Free for recording and on-device transcription on supported configurations. Local AI is also free on compatible Apple silicon Macs; Online AI is an optional paid upgrade.

Setup: Easy — download the Mac application and select the audio source; no calendar connection or meeting bot is required. The app supports macOS 14+, while Local AI requires an M1-or-later Mac, macOS 26.4+ and Apple Intelligence availability.

🎬 PROTOFACE STUDIO

Digest: A marketer can move from a script to presenter footage, product shots, B-roll and cinematic scenes without bouncing between separate generators. The appeal is less “AI video” itself than bringing several production steps into one browser-based workflow.

For: Marketing teams, agencies, ecommerce brands, trainers and smaller businesses producing ads, explainers, social content or presenter-led videos.

Solves: Piecing together a finished video from separate avatar, scene-generation and creative tools before somebody can even begin assembling the final content.

Price: Free plan available with 50 credits and one Studio project. Paid Studio plans start at $29/month.

Setup: Easy — create an account and work in the Studio; the separate developer API is optional. Studio can combine generated scenes, presenter footage, product visuals and storyboarding in the same production workflow.

👀 THE ONE I'D WATCH

Skydive is one of the more interesting launches this week because it is trying to automate an entire job, not just one task. Anything says more than 20 companies tested it in closed beta before launch, which gives it more weight than the average agent demo.

The bigger idea is simple: instead of building automation step by step, a manager could describe the outcome, give the agent access to the right systems and refine its behaviour through feedback.

That could make automation far more accessible to smaller businesses, but it also raises the stakes. An agent that can update CRM records, reply to customers or change ad accounts needs strong permissions, approvals and audit trails.

If Skydive can make that reliable, the proposition becomes much more compelling: don’t learn how to automate the process — just explain the job you want handled.

That's it for today!

I'll be back next week Tuesday to sift through another round of launches — and see which ones actually remove work rather than simply adding another AI tab.

See you soon,
